Member of the Month - Jay Featherstone
Our member of the month for August goes to Jay Featherstone!
Since joining us as a member in February 2020, Jay has really thrown himself into the world of CrossFit and has become an enthusiastic part of the community! 💪
Jay has recently stood out with his efforts in classes and has managed to bag a couple new skills recently, like kipping pull ups and is so close to nailing those double unders - both of which can be pretty tricky to get!
In every session he gives his all, involves himself with the other members, and is a great addition to Team CSC.
Turns out it’s not just drumming that he is ace at… well done Jay, keep up the hard work. 🥁
Welcome Eric!
We’re pleased to welcome a new member to TeamCSC, Coach Eric!
Eric is joining us with BSc (Hons) Strength and Conditioning and a strong background in gymnastics and judo. He is currently number 1 in judo for Great Britain and is aiming to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Charity Hike 2021 - Yorkshire 3 Peaks
This year for Central Staffs CrossFit’s charity hike, we will be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks!
The chosen charity for this hike is Anthony Nolan, the charity that enables people with blood cancer by finding them stem cell donors. It holds a very special place in quite a few CSC members’ hearts and we’re pleased to be supporting such an important charity.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks covers 40 km over 12 hours on Saturday, 11th September. It is surely no small feat, but Team CSC loves a challenge! The Peaks are:
Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.
