About me:
Like many, I found CrossFit after spending a couple of years training out of commercial gyms - Typically hitting a push/pull/legs split, headphones on, and tunnel-visioned with my sets.
After reading up on sports science by the likes of Ross Edgley, and later watching footage of the CrossFit Games, I got hooked on the idea of training for performance across multiple disciplines - introducing gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting to my wheelhouse.
Eventually joining a CrossFit box, I began to understand the profound benefit that group training and community had on my performance, as well as my general well-being.
I discovered that the CrossFit box is an environment where people of all different abilities and all walks of life share a common passion: To opt in to challenge themselves... for their families, for their jobs, and to enhance their lives inside and outside of the gym.
It was this personal experience that motivated me to become a coach and to do my part in facilitating an environment and serving a culture that embodies support, celebration, and development.
