About me:

From when I could walk, I have been engrossed in various sporting environments (rugby and alpine mountaineering to name a couple). I’ve been playing rugby from the age of 8, representing counties, and worked right up to signing a semi-professional contract at 18.

After college, I joined the Royal Engineers in the British Army where I spent 7 years deploying all around the world – all the way from operations in Africa to representing the Army or Corps Rugby team in New Zealand.

During my time in the Royal Engineers, I pursued a long-term goal of becoming a Physical Training Instructor in the British Army. This exposed me to the strength and conditioning world through working with external businesses and coaches. I then decided to further my education by studying Sport & Exercise Science at MMU to pursue my passion and develop my skillset.

Through all my sporting avenues, I’ve found learning and developing has been paramount to my successes. Being surrounded by devoted and motivated individuals have moulded the passion I have for fitness today.

The pillars of my approach to fitness centre around education and honesty. I value creating individual relationships within my training to recognise and achieve excellence together.

I have already had a long journey to get to this point, but still feel like I am at the start of my career. Everyone, no matter their goal, is on a journey and it is incredibly satisfying helping people reach their true potential.

I’m looking forward to working with the members of Central Staffs CrossFit and building lasting relationships with local sports clubs and athletes!
