I served for 13 years in the Regular Army, and have now completed 9 with the Army Reserve, for a total of 22+ years of service. I have deployed operationally to Iraq twice, and Afghanistan, and have worked in a number of training roles with recruits, potential officers, regular soldiers, and those seeking promotion. I first found CrossFit in 2011 as a grossly overweight, heavy smoking junk-food lover and, after using it to transform my own health, have spent my time since trying to help as many people as possible with the methodology, and all of the things that I have found stem from it. This is predominantly achieved through coaching individuals and groups, however also includes seminars for both athletes and other coaches, and taking on my own challenges in an attempt to demonstrate what is possible.

With a 25 year military career rooted in leadership, discipline, and service, I’ve spent decades honing the art of coaching not just in the gym, but in life. My time in the forces was marked by guiding others through high-stakes situations, sharpening both mindset and movement. It’s where I learned that true coaching isn’t about reps and sets, it’s about people. 🏋️♂️ From CrossFit to Platform Coaching My journey into CrossFit began in 2013, where I quickly found a home in its intensity and community. Since then, I’ve earned both my Level 1 and Level 2 CrossFit credentials, and expanded into Olympic Weightlifting, diving deep into the technical craft of moving a Barbell. Since 2020, I’ve been actively involved with British Weightlifting, completing both my Level 2 and Level 3 coaching certifications. I’m now a certified British Weightlifting Tutor, delivering courses and mentoring the next generation of coaches and athletes. From first time lifters to seasoned competitors, I’ve coached individuals across all levels building confidence, competence, and power on the gym floor and platform. 🧠 Coaching Beyond the Gym I hold a Level 4 Nutrition Coaching qualification, because I believe physical transformation starts with what fuels us. Nutrition isn’t just a supplement to training it’s the base of the pyramid and counts for everything else we do. My passion for coaching also extends beyond barbells. I’ve spent 9 years as a youth football coach, working with children and learning what it really means to teach, connect, and lead with empathy. That experience taught me that the best coaches are the best communicators, adaptable, patient, and always focused on growth. 🏃♂️ Competitor at Heart Whether it’s CrossFit Competitions, Hyrox, Trailwalker or Tough Mudder events, I’ve never shied away from a challenge. I believe in leading from the front, experiencing the same discomfort, joy, and breakthroughs I ask of my Athletes. 🔥 My Mission My greatest passion is helping people become the best version of themselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I specialize in identifying barriers, breaking them down, and guiding individuals to a place they never thought possible. Every goal is valid. Every person is capable. My job is to help you prove it to yourself and the world.

I started my CrossFit journey around 4 years ago after years of trying to find a sport that I genuinely enjoyed.
I had struggled with food and nutrition for years and so the more invested I got with my training, the more I came to realise the importance of nutrition and how fueling your body correctly can enhance your training. The fitter and stronger I felt, the more I wanted to help people to feel the same way. This led me to complete my level 2 sports coaching and level 3 personal trainer courses and pursue a career in the fitness industry.
I’m looking forward to coaching at ECF and CSC and becoming part of both communities and helping the members improve their fitness and skills!

Sport and fitness has always been my passion in life and this started through gymnastics. I trained and competed as a gymnast for years up until 2018 when it was time to give it up.
I knew I wanted to keep my fitness up and tried going to a standard gym but I felt like something was missing and that’s what bought me to Central Staffs as a member and I fell in love with CrossFit straight away.
I have been coaching gymnastics for a while now but really taken it seriously in the past year since giving up training myself and I really enjoy being in the role of a coach, supporting and motivating others in a sport (what’s not to love?!)
I have recently been working as a personal trainer and class instructor but I’m ready for a new challenge and am really excited to be part of such a great team here at Central Staffs!

I’ve been involved in sport since the age of three, and it’s been a core part of my life ever since. My passion for movement, health, and performance has inspired me to pursue coaching, particularly working with children to help them grow in confidence and love for sport.
I’ve competed at a high level, representing the West Midlands in Acrobatic Gymnastics and Staffordshire County in Netball. I currently play for Nottingham Forest Netball Club, continuing my involvement in team sports.
In September, I’ll be starting a Physiotherapy degree at Keele University, and I’m excited to enhance my understanding of physical health, recovery, and performance.
I began CrossFit three years ago and have seen a significant improvement in my overall fitness, particularly in how it supports my performance in other sports. It’s a style of training I genuinely enjoy and would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their strength, endurance, and confidence.
